Shrimp Fra Diavolo


Shrimp Fra Diavolo is a hearty & spicy Italian dish made of tomatos, garlic, calabrian chilies, and shrimp. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or date night at home & best paired with bread or pasta.


– Calabrian Chili  – San Marzano Tomatoes – Garlic  – Olive Oil – Roasted Peppers  – Shallots  – Sugar  – Large Shrimp  – Pimentón – Kosher Salt – Black Pepper – Parsley 

Shrimp Fra Diavolo

Roast garlic in a preheated 400°F oven for 45 mins. Once fully roasted, remove from oven and set aside to cool.

1. Roast Garlic

While garlic is roasting, season shrimp with salt, pepper, pimentón, and grated garlic. Set aside to allow flavors to meld. 

2. Season Shrimp

Add roasted garlic and roasted peppers to a blender and blend. Crush whole tomatoes by hand until consistency is chunky. 

3. Blend Garlic

In a dutch oven over medium heat, add oil, shallot and chilis. Sauté then add crushed tomatoes, garlic mixture & cook for 10 mins. Add sugar and season to taste with salt.

4. Make Fra Diavolo

Cook shrimp in a skillet for 4-6 minutes, just until shrimp are pink and cooked through. 

5. Cook Shrimp

Fold shrimp into fra diavolo or serve with shrimp atop sauce. Pair shrimp fra diavolo with crusty bread and enjoy!
