Steamed Mussels in Chipotle Cream Sauce recipe is an easy, one-pot meal that can be yours in 25 minutes!  Made with fresh mussels, chipotle peppers, cream, white wine, and aromatics.

– Avocado Oil or Ghee – Mussels – Shallots – Garlic – Dry White Wine  – Heavy Cream – Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce  – Worcestershire Sauce – Chicken Broth – Kosher Salt – Italian Parsley

Add avocado oil to a braiser over med-high heat. Add shallots and garlic. Cook for 6 mins, keeping a consistent stir and careful to not let the mixture brown.

1. Make the Sauce

Add wine & cook for 4 mins to allow alcohol to cook off. Next add broth, cream, chipotle, and worcestershire. Cook for 5 mins,  season to taste with kosher salt.

2. Add Chipotle and Cream

Add mussels then cover pot with lid. Cook for 7 minutes and discard shells that do not open.

Done!

Enjoy with toasted ciabatta bread or jasmine rice.
