Garlic Confit Toast

Garlic Confit Toast recipe is a notch above your typical garlic bread. Think garlic bread, with a nutty-sweet, creamy mouthfeel. Pair this delicious garlic confit toast with soups and pasta!

– Extra virgin olive oil – Garlic cloves – Unsalted butter – Freshly grated parmesan – Flat leaf parsley –Kosher salt  – French bread

Cook: 45 Min


Step 1

Add olive oil and garlic cloves to a small saucepan (make sure garlic cloves are submerged). Cook on low for 30 mins. Cloves should be surrounded by tiny bubbles, not frying in oil.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 400°F. When cool to touch, scoop out cloves. Place garlic in a bowl and add butter, parmesan, parsley, and kosher salt. Mix until a spread forms.

Lather garlic confit butter on each french bread slice and place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 7 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
