Garlic and Mushroom Skillet Chicken

Garlic and mushroom skillet chicken with a layer of creamy decadence. This skillet chicken recipe makes for the perfect weeknight dinner. The best part: perfectly crispy skin.


- Chicken thighs - Avocado Oil - Garlic - Cremini Mushrooms - Garlic Powder - Fresh Thyme - Chicken Broth - Heavy Cream - Kosher Salt - Black Pepper

Step 1:

Clean and pat dry chicken thighs. Season both sides generously with kosher salt and pepper.

Step 2:

Carefully add chicken thighs, skin side down. Flip and cook for another 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Once cooked, remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3:

Reduce heat to medium and add garlic cloves. Cook garlic, stirring often until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4:

Add chicken broth, cream and garlic powder to the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 mins, until liquid has reduced.


Enjoy over steamed rice, roasted potatoes or roasted cauliflower.
