What Makes This Prosciutto Burrata and Hot Honey Toast So Special?
For starters, its ease in preparation. Simply toast to desired crispiness and it’s a quick assembly of ingredients.
Another reason I love this toast so much is because of the peculiar yet absolutely perfect balance of flavors the hot honey, imparts on the burrata and prosciutto.
What is Burrata?
Burrata is cow’s milk Italian cheese made of mozzarella and cream. Often mistaken for mozzarella, burrata differs in that what’s inside of the ball is creamy, buttery, soft, stringy cheese.
Hot Honey? Please Explain
Hot honey is essentially honey with a spicy kick infusion and many are embracing the oomph this condiment gives your eats. Hot honey can be drizzled on biscuits, pepperoni pizza, fried chicken, ice cream (don’t knock it ‘till you try it), oh–and this Prosciutto and Burrata Toast.
Just 7 Easy Ingredients and Very Easy Prep
As mentioned, there’s not a whole lot of prep involved. Aside from toasting the bread, it’s a simple stack of the following ingredients:
- Toasted Sourdough Bread
